From September 18 to 21, the 35th edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari was held. The event pays tribute to the legendary Tazio Nuvolari. Registered in the FIVA Events calendar as a ‘Premier Event’, it is referred by many each year as probably one of the most eagerly anticipated regularity rallies for historic cars. This year’s event, once again, did not disappoint.

Driving thorough some of the most iconic roads of Italy, 290 teams traversed across a route of more than 1000km. The route was made all the more enjoyable as a result of the excellent and well-coordinated management of the organizer, further bolstered by the full support of the Polizia. The crews drove along the beautiful Italian secondary roads where historic cars are in their natural habitat, passing through multiple and stunning cities such as Mantova, Forlì, Rimini, Siena, and Ferrara. The cavalcade was admired by large crowds who were able to appreciate the incredible heritage represented by the automobiles — in the environment for which they were conceived, namely: the open road.

The overall winners in the regularity trials — repeat podium finishers — were Andrea Vesco and Roberto Vesco, driving a Fiat 508 S. They received their trophies in Mantova at the end of the event. Many others were also awarded, while the organization once again received recognition from FIVA for its commitment to the Federation’s values.
