The renowned Techno-Classica Salon reopened its doors from September 24-27, 2026 after moving to Messe Dortmund following thirty six years in Essen.
Working together with the FIVA ANF in Germany, the ADAC (AllgemeinerDeutscher Automobil-Club), FIVA carried out a number of programmes throughout the show, including holding the bi-annual Stewards’ Academy, bringing together around 30 international stewards for training and exchange of ideas and best practices.
Accordingly, the Academy not only encompassed several days of training but also very constructive discussions.

A wide range of topics were covered – from the FIVA Events Code, Event Certificates and Identity Cards to FIVA Awards, Concours d’Elegance judging, motorcycles and utilitarian vehicles.
Just as important was the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with members of the FIVA General Committee and to discuss how FIVA events, communication and international cooperation could be further developed.

As with the Academy, FIVA was closely integrated into the Techno Classica Salon Dortmund, including a FIVA Q&A Session, an Identity Card handover and many good conversations with clubs, visitors and exhibitors.
The FIVA ID Card handover encompassed the official handover of FIVA Identity Cards to the Mercedes-Benz R/C 107 SL-Club – a great occasion that also highlighted the club’s commitment to involving the younger generation.
The Q&A session which was held at the ADAC stand provided organisers , clubs and enthusiasts the opportunity to meet FIVA representatives, ask questions and exchange ideas directly.
Many thanks to everyone involved and to all participants for their enthusiasm, valuable input and fruitful discussions.
A special thank you to SIHA and ADAC for the excellent cooperation and support.
