The Hellenic Classic Motorcycle Club, celebrating it's 35th year, organized a static Historical Motorcycle Exhibition at the Zappeion on
Sunday June 15.

The exhibition aimed to showcase the cultural and social development of the motorcycle in Greece and its use, as it developed and evolved as a means of transportation, as a work tool, as a recreational object and even as a means of warfare during World War II.

The first European run which to use the "Classic Bike - Ride Don't Hide" badging, was the Greek 21st Classic Endurance. MCC member Ioannis Savvelis reported "this was one of the toughest, and most demanding winter rally held by the Hellenic Classic Motorcycle Club, which was completed with great success. Approximately 1200 kilometers were covered on unique routes in the mountainous and winter landscapes of Epirus. An unforgettable event from March 1-3 for motorcyclists who ride and don’t hide their passion!"

A short clip is here

Incidentally, Ioannis also found that the 2013 Greek rally used a similar title!

Motorcycle owners are from the club AMK Veteran Vozdovac The NSU Prima was made in the Yugoslavia factory "Pretis" in Sarajevo. Founded in 1948 in Vogošca, near Sarajevo, Yugoslavia production began in 1957 when NSU Motorenwerke supplied machines in kit form to circumvent the import restrictions imposed by the Tito regime. In 1961 they obtained tooling to begin manufacture of the Prima V and Maxima scooters for the local market. By 1963 they were producing NSU Maxi motorcycles and Prima scooters and later NSU Prinz cars. The Jawa rider on the right, Mr Branislav Kecman, was born in 1943 and still enjoys riding his historic machines.

5th National Meeting of Antique Motorcycles September 2025

The following introductions to the event have been shortened.

Raúl Aranda
President of the Spanish Federation of Antique Vehicles
Greetings to all participants on the occasion of the fifth National Meeting of Antique Motorcycles organized by FEVA in the province of Soria. Once again, the roads of this beautiful and welcoming region have been chosen by the Motorcycle Commission, represented by its director, the tireless Enrique Castells. However, and despite how repetitive it may seem, the choice of El Burgo de Osma as the logistical point of the event is not accidental, and each edition features new roads to travel and new formats to enjoy them. There are various routes to choose from, allowing the adaptation of terrain and mileage to the motorcycle, and rewarding the use of the oldest motorcycles......
Thank you all, thank you for joining us on this journey in favor of the protection, promotion, and preservation of Automotive Cultural Heritage, which your fantastic motorcycles represent.

Enrique Castells
President of the Motorcycles and Events Committee of the Spanish Federation of Antique Vehicles
Greetings. When I look back, I am amazed that five years have already passed since what we called the "1st NATIONAL MEETING OF ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLES," just after emerging from the pandemic. An idea that was born from a visit to the region with Enrique Rubio, now mayor of Berlanga de Duero, and that revealed to me the endless possibilities this area offers to fully enjoy our machines immersed in deep peace......
It is a true pleasure to organize this type of meetings and have the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of camaraderie and friendship that all of you who attend bring, with new faces joining in. Therefore, I want to thank you for making it possible for this gathering to continue taking place, and obviously, to thank the local and provincial authorities for all the support they always provide us.

South of Spain & Motorcycles: An Unconditional Passion - Vicente Sevillano

When we speak about South of Spain, we can highlight the great love of motorcycles that exists in the Cadiz province, which has been largely passed down through the generations. In this wonderful province there are numerous enthusiasts who are members of motorbike clubs, attend classic motorbike events and own private collections.

They have an even greater passion for motorcycle racing with nostalgic memories of the mythical and iconic races that were held over the past decades at the circuits like La Línea de la Concepción, San Roque (Campamento neighbourhood), the Jerez street circuit.... to the current and legendary Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto (Jerez de la Frontera city), which this year is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is a circuit very loved and valued by many fans from different parts of the world. Congratulations!

This 2025, FIVA (International Federation of Antique Vehicles) has continued its traditional activity organised by the Motorcycle Commission, called the "FIVA International Motorcycle Week" and renamed and relaunched as the "Classic Bikes - Ride Don't Hide" initiative. For this edition, the design of the commemorative pin is a Bultaco Metralla, which is very popular in Spain. It is the first time that FIVA did a tribute to a Spanish motorbike in this activity since Motorcycle Weeks were created in 2014.

Vicente Sevillano, Associate Member of the FIVA Motorcycle Commission from Spain, has been present in a series of classic events and where the organising clubs and participants to these events did not hesitate to be part of this precious FIVA activity whose objectives is to celebrate the use of historic motorcycles. Enthusiasts to the show their beloved historic motorbikes. In these events displays of a range of brands, from different countries and periods such as OSSA, Caviga, Moto Guzzi, Yamaha, Honda, Vespa, Mobylette, Derbi, Montesa, Bultaco, Kawasaki, NSU, Laverda, Vespa, Harley Davidson, BMW, Ural, etc are shown.

The month of March saw the celebration in Castellar de la Frontera municipally of the "1ª Quedada de Coches y Motos Clásicas Castellar de la Frontera". It was an event organized by Club Clásicos Chisparreros - MotoClub "El TITI" where in adition to classic cars, also approximately 50 motorcycles participated. This event included a caravan tour of the main streets of the municipality and culminated with a visit to the Hotel House Convent La Almoraima, built in the 17th century (1603) with a remarkable neo-gothic style tower. In this event numerous motorcyclists including from the organising club, the Gibraltar Classic Vehicle Association (FIVA ANF in Gibraltar), the Grupo Encuentro de Clásicos de Algeciras, participated.

Then in May, at Palmones (parish of Los Barrios city) the "II Encuentro de Vehículos Clásicos en Palmones" was organised by Club de Vehículos Clásicos Escape Libre. A great event where in addition more than 50 classic motorbikes participated alongside a number of classic cars. Many participants supported this FIVA activity and a group photo was taken.

Finally, we crossed borders to Gibraltar, where the 22nd Gibraltar Annual Rally, organised by the Gibraltar Classic Vehicle Association (FIVA ANF in Gibraltar), was held again in May. An extraordinary exhibition in the mythical and historic Grand Casemates Square where it could admire numerous classic vehicles of different brands and eras where the participants included historic motorcycles.
