A proud new member of the FIVA Professional Membership, Dastan Autoworld stands as a true icon in the city of Ahmedabad, renowned for its extraordinary collection of historic vehicles – with each one of these vintage cars a shining tribute to the artistry and innovation of motoring’s golden era.
Established by the late Shri Pranlal Bhogilal on his sprawling 1,000-acre estate, the museum features over 100 amazing automobiles. Recognized as one of the world’s largest private vintage car collections, Dastan Autoworld features rare gems from legendary marques such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lagonda, Maybach, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, Auburn and several others.
Highlights of the collection include a very elegant 1924 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, a magnificent 1927 Hispano-Suiza H6C, several Lancias and a pristine Maybach SW38. Visitors are treated to an array of historic treasures – from regal limousines once owned by Indian maharajas to wooden-bodied speedsters, horse-drawn carriages, and refined sports cars. Many of these vehicles were affectionately named by Mr. Bhogilal himself, bearing titles like Azad, Chamunda, Chetak, and Cleopatra.
Set amidst lush greenery and the serene charm of the Dastan estate, the museum offers a peaceful retreat from the rush of modern life. Whether you're a passionate enthusiast or a curious visitor, Dastan Autoworld opens a window into a bygone era where elegance, history, and craftsmanship meet – and, now as part of the FIVA Professional Membership, continues its mission to preserve and celebrate automotive heritage for future generations.
