FIVA was delighted to welcome members of the Cercle Pégase Amilcar to its headquarters in Turin on the 9th of April, 2025, as part of their spring tour through the picturesque region of Piedmont.
Driving their elegant and historically significant French vehicles, the club members brought with them the spirit of early motoring. The visit offered a wonderful opportunity to exchange stories, share FIVA’s ongoing work in heritage vehicle preservation, and celebrate the enduring passion for classic motoring that unites enthusiasts across borders.

The Cercle Pégase Amilcar, based in France, is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Amilcar marque—an iconic symbol of 1920s and 1930s motoring. Amongst the vehicles present at the visit to Villa Rey were a number of rare gems, namely: a 1930 Amilcar C8, one of the three Amilcar with eight cylinders existing in the world, several Amilcar CGSS of the Twenties, and a 1923 Bugatti Brescia. The oldest vehicle in the tour was a 1922 Amilcar CV.
Their visit highlighted the club’s enthusiasm for international exchange and cultural discovery. After receiving a book detailing FIVA’s history and enjoying some refreshments at the office, the participants were also welcomed at the premises of the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI), FIVA’s ANF in Italy. There, they had the chance to admire the stunning 18th-century frescoes that adorn the historic Villa Rey—an inspiring setting that beautifully reflects the cultural value of heritage preservation.
FIVA sincerely thanks the Amilcar Club for their visit and wishes them many more miles of joyful touring!
