The "Kapadokya Bahar Rallisi" (Cappadocia Spring Rally), organized by the Classic Car Sport Club of Türkiye (Klasik Otomobil Spor Kulübü Türkiye), the FIVA ANF, took place from April 18 to 20, 2025, amidst the captivating landscapes of Cappadocia. Held in honor of both Türkiye's National Sovereignty and Children's Day, the event attracted classic car aficionados from around the globe to one of the world's most historic and breathtaking regions. The rally concluded with a number of outstanding performances with the first-place trophy (overall) being awarded to Burak Dağaltı (driver) and Fulden Dağaltı (navigator), with their 1971 Alfa Romeo.
This year's rally featured 75 classic cars, ranging from a beautifully preserved 1934 Ford pickup which was also the oldest vehicle in the rally to a 1994 Chevrolet Corvette which was the youngest. The diversity and originality of the participating vehicles added a unique richness to the event All of the cars which attended the rally were maintained and preserved in their original form, showcasing not only automotive history but also the dedication and passion of their owners.
It bears particular note that the rally had over 180 passionate participants, and, most notably, half of the participants were women, “which beautifully reflects the growing diversity and inclusive spirit of the classic car community," said Sencer Sivridağ, President of the Classic Sport Car Club of Türkiye.
Over a two day period, participants covered a scenic 220-kilometer route, navigating through Cappadocia's surreal fairy chimneys, ancient valleys, and skies adorned with hot air balloons. The rally emphasized regularity stages on serene rural roads, focusing on orientation skills rather than speed, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
The event garnered significant interest both nationally and internationally, with teams traveling from as far away as Kosovo to join the celebration.
A highlight of the rally was the vibrant participation of young attendees. During the gala evening, set against breathtaking valley views, DJ Şan Top—a young competitor racing in the youth category—energized the atmosphere with his performance, igniting the after-party with enthusiasm.
The Cappadocia Spring Rally once again demonstrated how the love for classic cars transcends generations and borders, bringing together a passionate global community under Türkiye’s magical skies.
