The new President of the Association of Collectors of Historic Vehicles of the Slovak Republic, the national authority of FIVA (ANF) for the Slovak Republic, is Mr. Jakub Kránitz. Mr. Kranitz was elected at the General Assembly held on February 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
Prior to being elected President, he held the position of Director of the Commission for Passenger and Sports Vehicles within the Council of the Association of Collectors of Historic Vehicles. He is also a collector, having several historic vehicles in his collection, both pre-war and post-war.
In the case of Slovakia, and perhaps FIVA, this represents a historic moment – as Mr. Kranitz, at the age of 25-has become the youngest president in the history of the Slovak ANF and, at the same time, the youngest representative of the Slovak Republic within FIVA. His election can be seen as a symbol of generational continuity – combining respect for tradition with a modern approach by a new generation to communicate and develop the historic vehicle movement in Slovakia.
In a statement by Mr. Kránitz after his election, “historic vehicles are part of our technical and cultural heritage. My ambition is to build on the work of my predecessors, strengthen the professional voice of the association, and at the same time open the door to a new generation of enthusiasts.” FIVA congratulates Mr. Kránitz and wishes him the greatest of success.
