FRANKFURT, Germany – FIVA (the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) recently concluded its participation at Automechanika Frankfurt, the world’s leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarket industry. Stationed in Hall 11.1, the FIVA delegation engaged directly with global industry leaders, bridging the gap between the vibrant world of historic vehicles and the modern automotive business landscape.
Throughout the event, FIVA President Alberto Scuro and Senior Vice President for External Relations Jos Theuns led impactful presentations focusing on the Federation's core goals and objectives. Central to their message was the growing relevance of the historic vehicle sector for today’s automotive industry, particularly for suppliers, service providers and aftermarket specialists. The discussions also highlighted FIVA’s role in creating a stronger connection between the historic vehicle community and the wider automotive industry.

The FIVA team highlighted that the preservation, maintenance and responsible use of historic vehicles create a continued need for high-quality parts, specialised expertise and dedicated services across the automotive sector.
“Our presence at Automechanika allowed us to highlight the importance of the historic vehicle sector and the increasingly close connection between our community and the wider automotive industry. Historic vehicles require high-quality parts, specialised expertise and long-term technical support” said Jos Theuns, Senior Vice President for External Relations “The very positive response from the B2B community confirmed that there is significant potential for stronger dialogue and cooperation between these two worlds.”
The exhibition also generated a number of valuable new contacts with companies and potential partners across the automotive industry, opening opportunities for further dialogue and future collaboration.
