The second day of the Rétromobile exhibition was highlighted by two of the more recent initiatives of FIVA. The first, was in celebration of the Master's programme in collectible car management, under the name MAMACC (Master of Management of Collectible Cars) held at the prestigious LIUC Business School, a programme set up together with the renown collector of historic vehicles, Mr. Corrado Lopresto. From the beginning, the program received FIVA's full attention and endorsement and, by entering into a cooperation together with Mr. Lopresto and LIUC in a signing ceremony held at the preceding edition of Rétromobile in 2025, FIVA not only provided its wholehearted support for this programme, but also made its knowledge and expertise available as well.
Accordingly, pursuant to the first graduation ceremony of the program on the 13th of December, 2025, FIVA was proud to host a ceremony at the FIVA booth in Rétromobile celebrating the success of the program. Now having completed its first full year, the second edition of the programme was announced, highlighting the fact that the programme will be structured to have a greater international character. This will be yet another reason for FIVA to continue supporting this programme and to present it as a best practice.

The ceremony culminated with the presentation of two FIVA plaques by President Alberto Scuro together with retired FIVA President Tiddo Bresters, who was instrumental in the cooperation during his tenure as President. The plaques were presented to Mr. Corrado Lopresto and Mr. Andrea Venegoni – MAMAAC Programme Director, LIUC University.
The second celebration was the announcement of the launch of the “FIVA World Vehicle Heritage Programme” a programme which aims to provide recognition of a vehicle’s importance within a country’s automotive heritage.

This truly unique and global program will provide for recognition of vehicles based on a number of criteria, including, inter alia, their role in revolutionizing the local auto industry, providing the first means of accessible public transportation or even being associated with a major historical event. The selected vehicles will be afforded unique status and recognition by FIVA, formalized by FIVA certification and confirmation of the designation. The program is a reflection of the hard work of the FIVA Technical Commission, led by FIVA Vice President Laurent Heriou working together on this initiative with commission member Mark Gessler, former head of the commission and representative for North America.

Two programs, one common goal: Protecting, Preserving and Promoting World Motoring Heritage.
