Classic Bikes - Ride Don't Hide

 

 

 

 

 

The successful "Classic Bikes - Ride Don’t Hide" initiative continues in 2026. It is designed to enhance the promotion of FIVA and encourage the greater use of historic motorcycles.

The badges will be used by commission members and friends of FIVA at motorcycle runs. meetings and shows.

Enrique is President of the Motorcycles and Events Committee of the Spanish Federation of Antique Vehicles and brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for historic vehicles and motorcycles in particular.

 

 

VI National Meeting of Antique Motorcycles
The event will place on September 11th to13th 2026 in the town of El Burgo de Osma (Soria).

As on the previous occasions, the Motorcycle and Events Commission of the Spanish Federation of Antique Vehicles (FEVA) organized the traditional meeting for motorcycles manufactured before 1980, giving greater prominence to those of national manufacture and those manufactured before 1950, which are the ones that have the least opportunities to ride in the events that are usually organized. Pioneer Run®
This is the London to Brighton event for pre-1915 Veteran motorcycles, Sidecars, Tricycles and Quadricycles of any make.
Dated and listed in the Pioneer Register or suitably dated by the Veteran Car Club of Great Britain held on the 22nd March.
Again the run was enhanced with the addition of the Pioneer Plus category for similar vehicles of any make manufactured from 1915 to 1930.We were at the end point Brighton City Airport.This is a good YouTube video by BrooklandsMuseum tv, of the preparation and departure from Epsom, click here. twenty minutes in rider Andy Brown aged 84 on his 1902 Clement Garrard successfully rode to Brighton and was awarded The Tiny Ayers Memorial Trophy for the greatest combined age of rider and machine.
