The Klausen Retro Classic Club is dedicated to enthusiasts of classic and historic cars, with the primary goal of promoting and preserving vintage vehicles and automotive heritage. Founded with the intention of creating a community of enthusiasts, the club brings together owners and collectors of classic cars, offering them the opportunity to showcase their vehicles at special events, themed gatherings, and regularity rallies. Our activities include: Organizing exhibitions and parades of historic vehicles, providing the public with the opportunity to admire well-maintained collector cars with significant historical value. Regularity rallies, where participants can test their driving and navigation skills, adhering to international competition standards while maintaining the spirit of classic cars. Periodic meetings and social events for club members, where we discuss restoration, maintenance, and the history of vintage vehicles. Partnerships with other car clubs and organizations in the field, to develop the classic vehicle community and share knowledge and resources. We are eager to join FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) for several reasons: International recognition: Joining FIVA would enhance our club's global standing, allowing us to participate in international events and engage with similar clubs worldwide. Preserving automotive heritage: We are committed to the preservation of historic vehicles, and FIVA provides an institutional framework to protect and promote this heritage globally. Access to resources and expertise: FIVA offers its members vast knowledge and training opportunities regarding the restoration and maintenance of historic vehicles, which would be of great value to our club members. Contributing to a favorable legislative framework: Through FIVA, we could contribute to legislative initiatives that support the use and preservation of historic vehicles in Romania and across Europe. The Klausen Retro Classic Club aims to be an ambassador of the passion for classic cars, encouraging active involvement in automotive events and promoting the importance of preserving vintage vehicles.
