Replacement Stickers
How to order the new stickers?
Very simple. The ANF should send an email to the Technical Commission technical@fiva.org with the details of the ID Card. The secretary Peter Lovstrom Sorensen will perforate the stickers and send them back to the ANF.
FIVA ID Card Stickers – finally a solution!
Since several years the Technical Commission has been looking for a solution to replace damaged FIVA ID Card stickers, due to the replacement of the windscreen by restoration or any other reason. Finally we now have the possibility to provide you with new stickers with the perforated number of the FIVA Identity Card thanks to this antique perforator.
This antique check perforator is a rare and wonderful find! The silver-coloured metal apparatus is “long”, "wide” and "deep”. The sticker (or any other paper item) is inserted beneath its arm; small wheels below and above help feed it through (much like the feed dogs of modern sewing machines). Move the wooden handle gently up and down to help them along. An indicator wheel at the base of the handle carries numbers 1-9 as well as a money symbol and a star. Turn this wheel to select which number or symbol you want to perforate and push the handle down. The machine makes a perfect numeral in tiny dots on your paper!
The front of the perforator bears a plaque reading "Chicago Check Perforator, Patented Aug. 20, 1889, July 29, 1890, Nov. 29, 1892. The B.F. Cummins Co., Chicago, New York". The underside of the machine also reads "The B.F. Cummins Co. Mf'rs., Chicago, Ills". A tiny cup with cap that swings aside reads "Empty This Wastecup Often". This is where all the tiny bits of paper go when they are punched out by the machine.

FIVA’s communication is done by modern technology; the Technical Commission likes to work in the old fashioned way!
