PROCEDURE FOR VEHICLES REGISTERED IN COUNTRIES WITH FIVA REPRESENTATION
In accordance with the Technical Code of the FIVA the application form (appendix A of the FIVA Technical Code) must be submitted to the ANF (Autorité National FIVA/National FIVA Authority) of the country where the vehicle has a current registration (if the vehicle is not road registered to the ANF of the country where the owner is legally a resident) before a FIVA Identity Card can be issued.
Procedures differ from country to country, so please refer to the ANF of the country in which your vehicle is registered for instructions. Links to the ANF websites can be found here.

If accepted the ANF will then issue a FIVA Identity Card valid 10 years or until the ownership of the vehicle is changed. The Identity Card remains the property of FIVA and must be returned to the issuing authority or FIVA upon request. The Identity Card is solely for identification purposes, it is no guarantee of the vehicle's authenticity and is not be used for commercial purposes or proof of the vehicle's history.
PROCEDURE FOR VEHICLES REGISTERED IN COUNTRIES WITHOUT FIVA REPRESENTATION
Note : This procedure is aimed at individual owners of vehicles and application form must be filled in and signed by the owner/applicant.
Use the application form printed as appendix A of the FIVA Technical Code (Download Appendix A). Please fill it out completely and sincerely. You may then fax it back to fax number given below as advanced copy and finally post the original including the colour prints of step 2 to the following address:

3 identical colour prints (9 x 12 cm. Approx.) ¾ forward of vehicle (proper photos, not computer prints.)
This office will process your completed file (step 1 + 2) and, if satisfactory, will deliver by post to you a temporary ID Card with validity limited to the end of the month of the FIVA event in which you participate. This enables your vehicle to enter the event.
The vehicle will then have to be scrutineered by a FIVA scrutineer at the first opportunity, which is usually when you show up at the considered FIVA event, and, provided that satisfactory compliance with FIVA Technical Code rules is proven, the temporary card, when returned to above office, will then be exchanged against a regular, valid for 10 years, FIVA identity card, at no extra cost.
